Belle is dead - SebastiAn |
Sort of putting itself in the trail of the Kitsune labes, is other French label Ed Banger Records. I think this is how you would say headbanger, if you had a sexy French accent. On this label, one guy (Besides Justice of course) is making waves - SebastiAn! (Actually scratch that, everything this label does right now seems to be where it's at, but nevermind). SebastiAn's great EP Ross Ross Ross which was released in august was a pure gem of distorted synth bass, and he is now rightfully getting hailed as the new king of this French dancefloor wave. I don't even now if the wave has gotten a name yet? Anyone? Today I thought I would share a few tracks by SebastiAn, if not for anything, then just to be cool - I kidding, I actually really like this. Especially the rather heavy handedness of the numbers, and the way they don't seem to be following a linear pattern. Best served at max volume and at sweaty temperatures:
SebastiAn - Walkman Get it here
Daft Punk - Human After All (SebastiAn Remix) Get it here |
